from exploration to scale
CLIENT ERICSSON
THE CHALLENGE
Ericsson needed to showcase the transformative impact of their 5G Standalone (SA) technology, which had recently been utilised by Singtel for various projects aimed at both consumer and enterprise markets. They approached us to create compelling content that highlights the partnership between Ericsson and Singtel in Singapore, demonstrating how they are driving business opportunities through advanced 5G capabilities. This content needed to emphasise Ericsson’s leadership in technology while offering valuable insights and practical use cases for other Customer Service Providers looking to monetise 5G SA networks with network slicing solutions.
THE CREATION
As the ID2 team were researching to truly understand the nature of Ericsson’s collaboration with Singtel, we realised that there was a timeline of large-scale events/ trials that had already occurred to show what this 5G SA capability could do and how the two businesses together had achieved these. We wanted to tell this story of exploration all the way through to being able to scale this for businesses and consumers alike.
The production planning was intense and had to work around varying time zones but having lots of prior knowledge in international filming we had everything in place ready to go.
The team flew out for a week, and working with local crew on the ground captured not only the amazing sights that Singapore has to offer, but also invaluable content from Ericsson and Singtel really highlighting this journey that they have been on together.
THE OUTCOME
The outcome was a great success. The team, working with Singtel and Ericsson, were able to not only tell the Hero story of this partnership journey of 5G SA slicing capabilities but we were also able to tell the Business side of the story AND the Technical side, creating some explanatory graphics along the way. To help to promote this fantastic story we also created a shorter, dynamic, exciting social video which really captures the essence of what the teams are achieving over in Singapore.
We believe this technology is the future, and we are truly grateful to have been a part of this journey.
