THE CHALLENGE

We love working with all sorts of businesses, so when Titanic Brewery approached us with their video needs, we felt so honoured to be able to help and support a fantastic, national, brand that is based just down the road!

They wanted to create a sales and awareness piece to focus solely on their Stouts and Porters which recently have seen a huge surge in popularity. Since they are the largest brewer of these beverages, our challenge was to highlight this, whilst also increasing their brand awareness in this space leaning on their rich heritage and experience.

So, we set off to work to create and engaging and visually striking video to bring this story to life.

THE CREATION

We began by developing a distinctive new graphical style tailored specifically to Titanic’s brand. This approach incorporated a collage-esque aesthetic, blending cut-out elements, a mix of graphics and real footage, and a raw, grungy, yet fun local feel that would resonate with their audience.

Meticulous planning was key. We carefully storyboarded the entire video, ensuring every shot had purpose alongside writing a very carefully and impactful voice-over script. Our filming took place at Titanic’s brewery, capturing the brewing process in detail—not only for this project but also to build a valuable bank of footage for future use. To add further authenticity and context, we filmed at Bod Lichfield and Titanic’s pub, “The Beacon” to capture the vibrant atmosphere of people enjoying their local’s tipple.

THE OUTCOME

We are extremely proud of the final video, which successfully pushed creative boundaries and established a dynamic and unique visual style that sets it apart. The client was delighted with the outcome, commenting that the video perfectly encapsulated their brand and message in exactly the way they had envisioned.

This video is now being used by their sales team, online on their website and also being pushed on various social channels.

Reflecting on this project, just having the trust and confidence from Titanic to experiment with new creative directions from the outset was invaluable. This freedom allowed us to refine and perfect a fresh, bold style early in the process, leading to a well-defined and visually compelling final product. The video not only celebrates Titanic’s status as a leader in Stout and Porter brewing but also sets a strong foundation for future creative projects together.
